Walton Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) is an electric cooperative that serves 100,000 customers in ten northeastern Georgia counties. Walton EMC has partnered with GEMC Federal Credit Union to offer the HomePlus Loan to make energy efficiency upgrades more affordable for residential customers. Customers with good utility payment record, credit application, credit report and property title can receive prime rate financing for the installation of weatherization measures.
