About this incentive
Burlington Electric Department provides rebates to help customers who install residential multi-family EV chargers. The program covers a portion of the installed cost and includes enhanced support for income-qualified households. To qualify, customers must be enrolled in the Residential EV Rate and provide proof of purchase, installation, and vehicle registration. Applications are due within 90 days of installation. For multifamily level 2 electric vehicle supply equipment the standard rebate amount is $1,000. There are two additional $500 rebates for chargers made available to the public during the week from 9am to 5pm and to qualify for the second, more than 15% of units your EV charger serves must have a gross income less than a listed amount.
