About this incentive
*As of October 2023, no funding is currently available, but additional funding may become available in the future. In the 2019 General Legislative Session, Utah's State Legislature appropriated a budget of $4.9 million to be used for grants for the installation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). Businesses, nonprofits, and other governmental entities can apply for a grant of up to 50% of the cost for the purchase and installation of a pre-approved EVSE project. These projects can include both Level 2 or DC fast charging EVSE.
