About this incentive
Note: This program was revised effective July 1, 2025. The Charge Up New Jersey Program provides incentives to residents who purchase or lease new battery electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. To qualify, vehicles must have an MSRP of less than $55,000. The Charge Up New Jersey standard incentive is $1,500, available at the point of sale. The Charge Up+ incentive is $4,000 for income-qualified residents Home Charger applicants: Eligible chargers purchased more than 60 days prior to July 1, 2025 will not be eligible for an incentive.
