The City of San Marcos offers an Energy Efficient Home Rebate Program for the installation of central HVAC equipment, duct sealing or replacement measures, attic and wall insulation, EnergyStar windows and doors, window film and solar screens, and EnergyStar window AC units. A homeowner or tenant with written consent may apply; however, only existing single-family homes qualify for the Energy Efficient Home Rebate Program.
