About this incentive
Idaho Power offers incentives to commercial and industrial customers who incorporate energy-efficient features into new construction and major renovation projects. The program provides cash incentives for exceeding code requirements in areas such as lighting, HVAC, controls, refrigeration, appliances, compressed air systems, and building shell improvements. Incentives are available for specific technologies, like high-efficiency air conditioners, LED lighting, variable speed drives, and ENERGY STAR® appliances. Custom project incentives are also available for energy-saving measures not listed. A preliminary application is required before project completion, and a final application with supporting documentation must be submitted within 90 days after completion. Design assistance is available through the University of Idaho’s Integrated Design Lab, and architects or engineers may be eligible for a bonus incentive for helping complete the application process. For more details, see here or contact their Customer Care Team.
