NIPSCO (Gas & Electric) - Commercial & Industrial Energy Efficiency Program

NIPSCO’s Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program offers rebates to qualifying large commercial, industrial, non-profit, governmental, and institutional customers for installing new energy-saving equipment through NIPSCO's Prescriptive and Custom Incentive Programs. Prescriptive incentives reward eligible customers for replacing less efficient equipment on a one-for-one basis with pre-defined energy-saving technologies. Custom incentives are designed for more complicated projects or those that incorporate alternative technologies. Customer pre-approval is required for all Custom incentives. The program is designed to help customers with energy and money-saving projects involving the installation of new, high-efficiency equipment or systems or upgrading or investing in new energy project(s). Eligible projects can include but are not limited to, lighting, HVAC, compressed air, refrigeration, food service, steam trap repair and replacement, and boiler burner controls. Rebate amounts are program-specific and are based on the type of equipment replaced or the number of kilowatt-hours (kWh) and/or therms estimated to be saved by the installation of the new equipment or systems.
