About this incentive

Peoples Gas offers the Home Energy Rebate Program offers rebates for owners of single-family homes, two-flats, and individually metered condos, apartments, and townhomes. Rebates included for HVAC, water heater, and weatherization projects. New equipment must be installed and old equipment removed. Only new products that meet the energy-efficiency specifications listed on the residential application qualify. Rebates may not exceed the project cost. Complete terms and conditions can be found on the rebate applications. You must contact an approved weatherization contractor for the weatherization application (attic insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, and duct sealing). Effective Jan. 1, 2024, the maximum rebate per weatherization project is $1,200. To speak with a program representative and learn more about available rebates, call 855-849-8928.
