You getBest Practices Pathway Multi-Family and Assisted Living: $0.08/gross square feet w/ additional incentives available for optional advanced measures. Office: $0.09/gross square feet w/ additional incentives available for optional advanced measures. Parking Garage: $0.04/gross square feet w/ additional incentives available for optional advanced measures. Retail and Grocery: $0.09/gross square feet w/ additional incentives available for optional advanced measures. Warehouse and Industrial: $0.09/gross square feet w/ additional incentives available for optional advanced measures. Design firms can earn $5,000 plus 5% of the owner’s incentive for the accurate submission of design workbooks for each building type. Performance Pathway All building types: $0.07/kWh (Electric) or $0.35/Therm (Gas) High Performance Design Incentive available for projects that achieve high-performance certifications/criteria. Achieve Certification – $5,000 Electric Building: Projects meeting the program's Electric Building requirements are eligible for an additional $10,000 incentive. Energy modeling and documentation – $5,000 plus 5% of the owner’s incentive.

The New Construction Service Team supports project goals while offering the opportunity to explore energy-saving ideas and strategies. These strategies may offer long-term energy and cost savings for projects. Financial incentives and technical assistance are offered to encourage design teams and building owners to surpass standard practices and exceed energy code requirements. This program offers two pathways: The Best Practices pathway - This method offers a prescriptive approach to new construction projects. Performance pathway - This pathway offers a custom approach that targets projects in their early design phase to maximize performance improvement opportunities.
